Dredging: Letter Writing Campaign
While the USACE has not allocated any funding in 2025 for dredging of the Pentwater Channel, the water levels are rapidly decreasing, and the need for dredging is becoming crucial. We encourage you to join us in using the template below to write a letter requesting funding from Pentwater's Federal & State representatives.
The Pentwater channel is a crucial aspect of the Village's economy, and we hope with your help, it can remain fully utilized through the 2025 season!

The Village of Pentwater is wholly contained within the boundaries of Pentwater Township. Consequently, if you live or own property in the Village, you are a Village resident and subject to Village taxes, as well as a Township resident and subject to Township taxes. If you live in the Township but outside the Village, you are a Township resident only and subject to Township taxes only.
